Title: Heresy minotaur
Post by: Agentmolar on May 28, 2008, 10:54:17 PM
For a bit of fun, i did my best to make this look good without killing myself. Im practising my shading and highlighting. Its getting better, im still a bit rough with my blending. The funny thing is i like my rough painted minis in real life. They tend to have a dynamic look to them on the table. ( a good excuse for being lazy i guess)

I should have prepped this mini more too. the metal surface is quite rough and its hard to smooth layer on it. Thats also why i havent bothered any more on him.

I like the purple. You have been on a purple kick of late. Nice base too.

that's very good indeed. the shading is coming on leaps and bounds!

can we have a pic without the white background as it's bleaching out your colours.

metals look dark and gribbly too  :clap2:

Not my kind of paintjob but he definately has a realistic look to him and hes done in a way that you dont see very often.  Nice to see something different  :clap2:
