Ok so this has probably been asked a million times, but ive been looking at the RPG threads and it looks intresting, so can someone treat me like a 3 year old and explain what i would need to play in one (time commitment, charater creation.. etc.) ive gamed for years so im a fast learner, and im very intrested in giving it a try.
As far as commitment goes, so long as you can manage to post every day or two that should be fine. Sometimes games are on a bit of a go slow but most of the time people tend to post once a day or more.
that should be no problem. Any other advice?
The standing one (at least for me personally) but since you're an experienced gamer you should know that one:

Access to the rules whilst your online is pretty much essential too. I'm at work most of the time when I'm online, but I've found online rules are just as good as the books, if not better in some cases (like searchability!) :)

rules could be a problem, as the comp i use has filters to stop entertainment and game sites from loading (stupid filters) but im not to worried with rules as much as storyline. so i get gacked cause i didnt know a rule... so long as im having fun thats ok :icon_cool:
so i guess i'll give it a try when a game becomes avalible to play if anyone is intrested in having me.
I also have some of the rule books in PDF format so if you can't get to the rules online I can just email them to you.

And I was just going to ask if you'd found a game yet :p. Deathtrap Dungeon and Dark Awakenings are both closed (as in closed environment games) but Night Below's got potential for new characters to join (although it's pretty full at the moment).

sounds good, whats the next step? do you have a pre-gen made or do i need to role something up?
