Allways happens to me when I cook. After some hours cooking and serving the food I usually just tell people "There it is, go ahead!", go out for a smoke and come back in and have a sandwhich instead.

I do the same, the only time it doesn't happen is when the meal is quick
Althoug I cooked, we all sat down and ate our Pheasant and Guinea Fowl, had a glass of champagne and some Christmas pudding...

Seems like a good number of the gents on here cook the Christmas dinner then - I was starting to feel odd - but you lot have made me feel normal (again! ;)).
I cooked duck, which was great - although we had a turkey dinner at my Mum and Dad's yesterday, as well.
...Now all I want is to go and play with Toy Soliders ;)
So, what (toys) did everyone get for Christmas?
I got a Crystal Caste Battlehive, one of the large GW mini cases, and a GW paintstation as well as a very nice copy of Featherstone's Complete Wargaming - a great addition to my burgeoning wargaming and modelling library :D
Do you think the battlehive would be big enough to fit a Netherlord?

As for the cooking, we were at the in-laws this year (as usual in fact), so I had little to do but a blinis with salmon for my wife because she was hungry before us. Oh I think I didn't tell about this!
We are going to have our second child (hence the hunger...)! It should be a little August lion!

@CH: Yes and No (my favourite answer to any question! :)). The foam trays individually are not deep enough to take a netherlord. There are four 1" and two 2" trays. However, if you were to cut through the base of one of the 2" trays, or were to make a custom tray, or purchase the 4" tray they've got on their website, I think you'd be just fine :)
Assuming, of course, that your Netherlord would fit in a 4" tray :icon_wink: I don't have one to test it with, unfortunately, but if you want to give me the dimensions, I can easily check those against the case.
