I know my G,F Joan is dressing up as xmen rogue for me oh I must of been a good boy this year.
I think she is doing it for me as I have just spent £3000.00 for my mums car to be fixed just two days a go now.
I have now gone back to living on bread ad Water for the next month or so.
I am happy that I shill have a G,F and my mum still has a car so she can get about.
Books and kitchen utensils.
I wish for those every christmas.
I have a fetisch for kitchen utensils. Everything from beautiful bowls and plates to electrical machinery.
What I like about wishing for books (unspecified) is that I get something the GIVER likes which will broaden my reading habits into terrains I haven't visited before.
Last year I got a book about the sarine attack in the japanese subway and about "Travellers" in ireland. Both fascinating reads but had I been left to my own devices it never would have occured to me to buy (or borrow) them.
No use wishing for sculpting equipment. No one I knows knows even vaguely enough about the subject to even get close to something I need.
I don't know.... just the way I like it
I shall be getting very drunk and my consciousness altered in as many ways as possible. Xmas isnt as much fun when you're sober. Other than that I doubt I'll get any figs, never do :icon_tears:
I'll be getting the joy of watching my bandits (cant really call em children at this moment, because quite frankly they make out like bandits every x-mas) go thru the wrapping paper like 2 berzerk chainsaws.

I got a shelf. I've really really needed one for a long time (one with many small shelves for my sculptures) and have been looking for a certain type of shelf that seems more or less extinct these days everywhere. My mother in law had one just like the one I needed (bought in the seventies) and gave it to me.
So now my spices have somewhere to stay :icon_wink: Been using the spice rack for my figures and stuffed all the spices in a cupboard.
I believe the type of shelf I'm thinking of originally was used for holding printing letters back in the days when all printing was done with loose letters.
Got me a good cook knife to. Been needing one for a while.
My daughter had made a table. A very well done table.She's good with her hands...
Problem is, we haven't really got room for a table :icon_scratch:
She'd also done a woodcarving of Jack (From nightmare before christmas) that looked great!
And she bought a huge 60 euro toy for her two kidbrothers - with selfearned money :clap2:
Time for with my family is what I like the best. I am so glad to have it.
Hmmm, well I love my family, no doubt about that... But I often spend prolonged periods alone with the three kids. A couple of months ago was the first time I went away (to Malta) without the kids since my daughter was born twelve years ago...
What I'm saying is: Time with my family I have a PLENTY! So sometimes I would enjoy a short break with time WITHOUT my family :icon_wink:
Several books (all of which are.. unexpected) so I have some interesting reading matter!
I got a Crystal Caste Battlehive, one of the large GW mini cases, and a GW paintstation as well as a very nice copy of Featherstone's Complete Wargaming - a great addition to my burgeoning wargaming and modelling library :)
And some socks that say "The best Dad in the world" :D

Well, I think traditionally, its the last one with a head - that was the way they did it in Highlander, but since it is Christmas, I think we can agree to disagree on this one. :occasion14:
