I really like the cyborg zombie, the big guy is begging to be painted up as Marvel's Zombie Hulk..

Off the top of my head, nope. The idea of getting back into the hobby was partly to start clearing the boxes of never-to-be-painted lead sitting around the loft and the cellar. Instead of which, the last two months I've done nothing but buy new figures :D

Painted bits and pieces but tbh I don't get time to do anything justice - so it's been mostly tabletop standard and dipped stuff. And painting bits for my eBay store as I make the things :)

The biggest change is in the paints themselves. Having painted figures from '78 onwards in enamels and oils it's been a steep learning curve with acrylics. Bought my first citadel paints a little over a year ago, graduated onto Rackham paints now, but just don't get the time to really sit and paint like I used to. And even with flow enhancers and the like I'm struggling to get the wet-blend effects I used to have off-pat in oil-based paints...

AS to CMON - I wouldn't dream of posting anything painted in the last few months on there :O

Yeah not ideal.....I'd wait for the inevitable zombie cheerleader from hasslefree personally...

Not bad sculpts but plenty of mouldline action

Gahh, really? That's always annoying. To be honest, though,I ended up buying a load of other stuff off that site to "justify" the postage, so I'm looking forward to some of that more than the zombies.

Cleanest castings I;ve seen recently are the zombie containment crew I bought from Eureka - I've never seen such crisp, spotlessly beautiful castings. Got a few of their zombie horde spare if you're interested...

You're not wrong about the mouldlines. Mine finally arrived today, and they'll need some work to be paintable. They've also managed to send me a set missing an arm from the multi-part zombie cop. I know it's a zombie and that shouldn't matter, but ripped-off arms don't tend to leave a nice, clean ball socket *goes off grumbling for the greenstuff*

what other ones did you get in the set?

Lookout, here's :cm with his  :twocents:

Just looking at the pictures, the range looks pretty poor in quality, I've seen plenty of hobby sculptors here and on FoD much better than theirs.  And its just sad that the casting quality isn't good either.  Any thoughts/observations on the game?

Incidentally, Geronimo, you're welcome to join my site and post your pictures there...

@ gi6ers - cheerleader and the standard guy who seems to be in both packs.

@ cheddar - actually, they're not bad sculpts in the flesh. The cop pulling his reanimated buddy is pretty nice and will fit in well with the other living riot cops I've got already. It's just a shame their caster doesn't know his arse from his elbow.

That said, picked up a box of their CSO peacekeepers while I was at it, and they're not bad at all. Much cleaner castings, at any rate, and as if to make up for the missing zombie's arm they've included an extra soldier in there missing only a head (and there's plenty of those in the spares box :) )
