I'm used to read some comic books in english, and I sometimes ordered things that interested me from a shop in the north of France (my country...). I did like this for years, and It worked very well. However, the shop died a couple of weeks ago, and the guy gave me another address if I needed to order things. But this other shop wants to charge me 7€90 for the shipping of TWO (2) comics! :tantrum:
So I was wondering if somebody from UK could get me the books and send it to me, by any chance...

Thye are really cheap, about 3$ each, but I have a hard time getting them here...

Good idea, I don't know why I didn't try earlier. Maybe I was afraid of the shipping fees...But in fact I went on:

I am curious now, who else reads comics? I do mostly marvel stuff.
I read mostly Marvel too. I'm a huge fan of the Thunderbolts, and I enjoy Iron Man as well as Captain America.
I also like to read some DC too: Kingdom Come and Red Son are among my favorite. My brother also offered a huge Crisis on Infinite Earth binding for my birthday, I found it good too.
I'm also getting the Hellboy books slowly but surely...
I'm still shocked they killed Cap. I do like that nothing is sacred and there seem to be plenty of new ideas coming out of them.

The most annoying thing about dead people in comics is that they never stay dead for very long...
If a death was once for all, they would think of it twice before really killing a character. Today ther are too many characters dying and coming back, sometimes without the tiniest explanation...
However, I was also shocked about Cap's death.
Now .. nope, I can't get them easily after I got made redundant from the comics and RPG shop I ran.
I won't give him any of my cash any more, and there is no one locally, So I just pick up the occasional Graphic novel

the problem with Indie stuff is it is short runs.... so you need to know the artist and /or writer before you get it. As I no longer spend hours pawing over the pre releases catalogues to fill customer orders, i don't know what is released.

i have loads of the old tales of suspense marvel from the 60's.
loads of 1st appearances of heroes and villains ( i have a 1st iron man and silver age cap america :icon_wink:)
Medved get those old ones graded and sealed away in a protective box for safe keeping.
I buy far too many graphic novels, ultimates, hulk, iron man, Slaine, Fantastic 4...Keep meaning to pick up the Walking Dead.
i started reading and collecting when i was 8, but ive stoped now, still i like to read the odd comic here and there.
As you might have guessed i was and still am a huge fan of ElfQuest.
