I think the legs need thinning a bit below the knees but otherwise very good :icon_wink:
Nice face - and I like the layers of clothing. My only comment is to ask about a mage in chainmail (which I like) but in most games mages can't wear armour, no? It would makes sense if he was still a dualist, though.
What is the piece over his chest but under the robe? I can't figure it out.
Something looks really awkward from behind. It's almost as if his head is too high, his shoulders too low and his hips too high as well. It's weird since it only looks that way from the back but not from the other angles. His neck does look a bit long in the front on pic 'though.

I think that is just the cut of the robe, Balgin. We aren't used to seeing people wearing something like that, and being open at the front, its effects are just more prominent from the back. Ref: Trinny and Suzannah (:angrywife: :angrywife:) and how clothes can be used to modify/change the apparant shape of your body.
There is plenty of character in the face. My only issue with it is the pose. It seems a bit flat.
the chest thing is a breastplate, just to break up all thre chainmail (back when he was a duelist)
i'd aimed for cleric, as you don't see many clerics that arent big armour crusaders
i'll probably do an alternate sword hand for the wand
the neck is a touch long but i'm planning some shoulder adornment to sort that out
and the open hand will have an option on a book or shield so he's a little more diverse
Sounds like you've got it covered there, S1ND3X :) I like the neck, though, especially the hair. When I had long hair, it used to fall exactly like that (except mine formed ringlets from about my shoulderblades!). It looks like he usually has his hair tied back, but right now, its loose. Good work :D

mine does that
thanks for the positive comments
I like the expression in the face and the overall character of the model, nice job! As for some constructive criticism, his left hand seems to be a bit awkwardly positioned around the staff.
Looking OK. Lower legs seem a bit bulky and the cape is covered in fingerprints but I assume you're making another layer on top of it?
Face is lovely! Very expressive. Also the open hand is very well done.
