What do you think?
Thats my kinda mini. I try to mix cartoony with realism but never quite achieve it. You have done there :clap2:
The more u look at it the better it gets :icon_w00t:
But...But this dwarf has no beard! :icon_scratch:
Very nicely done! I wouldn't like to stand in her way, she looks...massive :icon_ermm:

Exactly what i go for, I try to make what I paint look kinda gritty. Thanks!
Just waiting for Balgin to comment... :icon_cool:
is that metallic NMM? or just the light.
looks good.
Hmm I wonder what the term for Metallic NMM should be "reflection shaded metallics" ?
Nice work. The metallics look solid.
Very nice, don't really like the mini, but the paintwork is solid!!!
Great improvement on your metals mate. :clap2:
And great work all round.
Judging by her stance and bum ware, she is spending a penny with change and has just came under attack. :icon_wink:
Her arse scares me more than her face..... :icon_ermm:
Nice paintjob,tho!
I was in Praag, in one of their many female filled clubs (I wont elaborate), and there was a Dwarf woman walking around in a bikini that looked exactly like her. Knew I'd seen her somewhere but the armour threw me :icon_w00t:
I was drinking soda when I read that and wound up spitting it all over the desk (it was a needed laugh)
Ooh, nice one. How did you get the colours so smooth? (It almost looks liek you copied my colour scheme, if so then I'll take that as a compliment).
Not on purpose but maybe yours stuck in my mind....
I used foundation and normal paints for the red (a little wet blending as it's not too big a surface) and just painted the metals as you would a non-metallic paint instead of my usual semi-drybrush, went from 50/50 boltgun/black up to mithril for the highlights.

lol please dont bill me for a sticky keyboard :icon_w00t:
50\50 boltgun\black up to Mithril. Did you use chainmail inbetween or skip? It looks like there is a slight blue ink applied over the metal on the hammer head, or is this my eyes?

No, just the initial mix and just added more boltgun then mithril until it was 100% mithril on the highest points, there were a couple of washes of black into the shadows too. I don't really use chainmail as I don't think it's that much different from mithril.....didn't think of a blue glaze, that might work well on the next one, I'm doing a few armoured guys for practice so I'll give it a go.
Great painting - terrible mini! :D
Nothing more to be said, really!
I've drybrushed mithril over boltgun and then black inked and it gives me a better result than when I try to go boltgun\chainmail\mithril. Think I'll join you in skipping the chainmail from now on :icon_wink: I was trying to get more depth in the shading but it wouldnt work for me.
I've seen blue and green inks over metals b4 and they looked really good and gave a sorta magical feel to them. I suppose another way would be to add a bit of metallic medium to a light blue or green paint and use that as the highlight.

The scary thing is that I have a second blister of these girls waiting to be painted up and I had considered doing the gimp mask girl blonde as well (or maybe not).

That's why it looks so similar to mine. Mine's 1/2 boltgun metal/chaos black, then boltgun metal highlights then black ink.
