They look good so far. I like the poses and variation. The bases do fit them well.

I'm not quite sold on the bat wings but I've yet to see them painted..

the wings are off the new possesed sprue so they look like they are growing out of the backpack, fits in a bit better than just sticking on wings

not happy with the base at the min, needs more contrast between the skulls.
(funny how some things look totally different IRL)
Here's a click for image (http://LINK to bigger pics if anyones interested
(please note i take no responisibility for any optical dammage from viewing the misakes that close up - and before everyone points it out the grainyness of the paint in some places is due to me basecoating these with an airbrush and not having a clue how to use it lol)

Thats looking great mate, know what you mean about the base though.  When the fig is that well painted you need the base to compliment it not bring it down.  You obviously have the skill to sort it out though  :icon_wink:

Great work Ian. I love the highlights on the wings and the look of the bronze (thanks for the recipe). Why not add a fresher skull to the mix on the base.

Great winged guys... the wings look great and very coherent... but maybe I would have used other color other than red to make a difference with the armour...

Unfortunetly the wing colour really works for Khornite troops-cute little baby Bloodthirsters.  So I think its up to the bases to really standout

I've only just noticed this - perhaps because the rest of the model is so brilliant :)

But if you painted the bone spikes/hooks on the top of the wings and on the end of the 'finger' of each wing like the other bone spurs on the body of the model, then the view from front might make the wings "blend" more easily with the front of the body model, lifting the viewers eyes upwards from the base.

The integrated backpack already gives this effect from the back view, I think.

I hope that this makes sense.

As a Space Marine player -I love the paint job enough to admit I would feel a moment of guilt as my assault cannon roared to life.

A moment.

:)  Really nicely done-I cant say that enough.  These guys are so sweets
