Title: Bruenor's new website.....
Post by: Bruenor Odinson on September 24, 2007, 12:27:18 PM
Hi folks,

Have been busy setting up a new website to pimp myself out to the 'I need a painter' masses :icon_ermm:

Not too sure if it will generate much more custom my way, but hey if you ain't out there, you won't get anything.
Not to most flash site ever , but it should do the job intended.

Please feel free to browse it at your leisure, and bookmark, and tell your friends that need those pesky minis painting. :welcome: :icon_w00t:

Oh the links below in my signature, didn't think I should post it twice.

I like it mate.  Load speed times are good and its nice and compact.   :clap2:  One thing they say u should do on any website is every page should have a link back to the homepage.  If people come in via a search engine its not always thru your homepage, they could come in on say your gallery page.  They then have no way of getting to your homepage except by physically typing address in bar.

Looks good.

I'd like to see the celtic knotwork images reflect whats behind them.... but thats cos my connection is slow ATM and the buttons took time to load and I had to keep flicking through them to find stuff.

PS.. whats your 15mm painting like  :icon_wink:

Ta very much, the knotwork does take a little loading, but that's the best I could do with it, should have seen the original loadtime.........Arrgh!!

15mm you say, about the same as everything else, I try to get the best I can out of any sized mini, no matter how small they are.

Well I won't get caught with import duty, VAT and Post Office "squealing fee" for European based painting services over £20.   the 26% tax and £5 GPO fee are killers on imports

Of course I would use Mikes CUSTOM HOBBY painting and model making services if I was in the US, as it is so good.

9) Please remember that this forum is a part of CustomHobby.com (http://www.customhobby.com) and thus is a part of MY business venture. I have created an area for our friends to advertise (http://www.customhobby.com/forum/index.php?board=14.0) their own projects and releases. Please keep advertisemnts limited to those areas and remember to refrain from 'pimping' in other sections. Also if I post that I can do something or that CH offers that service please do not attempt to offer you own services (you can start you own forum) or those of another business (that have their own sites). That takes food out of my childrens mouths, and I am not partial to that.
