This is Mrs T's concept sketch for a female starship crewmember in a light "day" uniform, it was intended to be one of a series of crewmember sketches but I got fairly lazy about giving her the character briefs so it never got much further than this young lady. Her name is Bethany and she was going ot be a genetically engineered astrophysicist.
I finally managed to persuade Mrs Tiacapan to start up a deviantart account so if you want to see some of her other work look for her under the name of Missykaren, I know she'd appreciate the feedback.

dona and done
Nice work
Very nicely done. Ill need to check out that DA account now.
Nice one, her left hip (on the right) seems a bit odd but then it's only a partial picture so you can always call stuff unfinished :). Belt buckle could probably shift round a bit and be a little less flat looking too. I like it.
Thanks for the positive feedback folks, Mrs T does have a tendency not to completely finish her pictures. She likes to get the concept down and then leave it once she's happy with the overall feel of the piece. Hence in this case the lesser amount of detail on the hips and upper legs as this piece was mainly about the upper body and face.
Let her know what you think of her DeviantART stuff, she hasn't posted much for a little while (manly due to moving house in the last few weeks) but she checks in reguarly to keep an eye on things, she's also working on another project at the moment that is taking up a lot of her time.
Invite Mrs.T to join. We love artists over here and even have a dedicated section for them to share their works.
Speaking on which Baldemyr, Balgin.... um I haven't seen any updates. You guys had some interesting items posted. Don't leave us hanging...
Mine hasn't progressed much. I think I might need a model (or at least some catalogue photo's) to see how the cloth might fold around the buttons of the particular garment I am considering.

Hmmm, I'm just quietly pondering here how much easier it would be to look at her DeviantART stuff if you had a link :icon_angel:
But never you mind me. Just thinking out loud....
I always get there by clicking on the picture of the behemoth demon in captain_jack's signature: http://the-captain-jack.deviantart.com/

Good point, well made:
http://missykaren.deviantart.com/
that explains why I havn't seen more of her stuff uploaded. I'm still waiting for her to upload the one your using as an avatar on the FoD so I can fav it.
man my dev art account is full of smut, and it's not even my smut. Sometimes I think I fav too many nudes
My FOD avatar is actually taken from a picture by Samuel Araya that formed the cover of the Players Guide of the 3rd Edition Kult RPG,if you want to check out the original it's linked below. But thinking about it does give me an idea for a piece Mrs T was working on...how to make a young lady look demonic but without going for a tail or wings or anything like that.

Dark stuff, but impressive
:icon_redface: my mistake, I thought you posted it in one of the suggestions boards as a drawing by your wife and it looks as though it wounld be in her style except more finished. I suppose she can take that as praise
She can indeed.
And talking about suggestions, that swordswoman of yours would make a great mini for Hasslefree, why not post it on the FOD?
I havent contributed more art due to paying contracts being due- The art will return :icon_razz:
So... I have an elfwood account but uploading is way to much trouble with their silly ticketsystem and long waiting times and all so I haven't uploaded in three years... Is deviantArt a site that means less hassle for the artist?
It certainly is, DeviantArt is dead easy and fairly quick to upload :icon_razz:
On another note here's Mrs T's latest offering, apparently she's only a little bit evil...honest! (The character that is, not Mrs T who isn't evil at all)

I was thinking about it but then I went and forgot. Perhaps after work, I have to leave RIGHT now or I'm gonna be late...

Would the wife be interested in trying to sell pics? I know a site that wants portrait artists. This in no way is a direct job offer-i just happen to be a part of the site and they always want more art.
I'll ask her, pm me the details.
