Hi there, welcome to Custom Hobby's own little corner of the Weird Wide Web. Nice of you to drop by.
We're here to provide... well, custom hobby services basically (Really? Who'd have thought? With a name like that...)

Things like:
Custom-built scenic items - either for wargaming or as display pieces. Anything from a fortress to a humble straw hut, and pretty much anything in between;
Conversions - gaming figures or larger scales, vehicles, etc;
Dioramas & display models - fantasy, historical, sf, 40K, LOTR, etc;
Figure painting - for gaming or display, in any scale, from a single display figure to an entire army.

We'll add more services and products as things progress, such as: Resin accessories, limited edition figures, full size props & weapons, etc.

Meantime, if you're wanting anything specific, get in touch and let us know (even if it sounds crazy), there's a good chance we can probably help. We pride ourselves on our quality, and in also being good value for money. For that reason, our modelling and painting services are available in several different pricing structures, from a basic, but good gaming standard, right up to display/showcase quality for collectors.

Custom Hobby is based in New York, owned and run by Mike Muniz. He's a nice guy, so drop him an email and he'll be happy to answer any questions you have.

"Dear Mike M - why do elephants grow so big???"

Well OK, almost any questions...

There's another Mike involved as well - Mike Hansen. He's the guy who gets the fun job of gluing his fingers togeth-- er, building the actual models. He's a Kiwi, based in Auckland, New Zealand... ...Yep, that's right. The other side of the world. It's not like these two guys hate each other or anything, it's just the way things are.
Now, you're probably asking yourself "New York... New Zealand... how the heck does that work?"
The short answer is: Surprisingly well, apart from the different time-zone thing.

Check out our FAQ page for more information on what we do, how we do it, pricing, shipping and other miscellaneous info. Also don't forget to have a look at our galleries to see some examples of past and current work. In the meantime, contact us if you'd like a quote on a model, have any questions, or just want to say hello.

Thanks for visiting us, enjoy your stay, and watch out for the goblins, they're sneaky little buggers!
